Mexico NKG Bloom Maya is a one-time tribute coffee created in loving memory of Maya Gray— team San Diego’s golden mascot of happiness and the Very Good Girl who brought comfort, joy, and undeniable elegance to every room she entered. After 11 years of cozy knee-high hugs, perfectly coordinated bandanas, and leading the Potluck Clean-Up Crew, Maya left a lasting imprint on our hearts.
This coffee was grown in the Fraylesca region, in central Chiapas. This region is home to 460 coffee producers who primarily speak their indigenous Tzotzil language; 26 percent of them are women. These smallholder coffee producers cultivate Sarchimor, Costa Rica 95, Marsellesa, Obata, Caturra, Bourbon and Marago in natural shade, preserving the existing ecosystem, rich with native plants and animals.
