Grown in the highlands of Odo Shakiso in Ethiopia’s famed Guji district, this coffee comes from producer Biru Bekele, whose dry mill and meticulous processing bring out the region’s most expressive flavors. Cultivated at elevations of 1750–2050 meters under a subtropical climate, these Ethiopian Heirloom varieties develop exceptional sweetness and complexity.
The cherries are naturally processed, dried on raised beds for 16 days, allowing the fruit's sugars to fully infuse the beans. Harvested in November, this lot showcases the vibrant character Guji is celebrated for.
Expect a cup bursting with ripe berry sweetness, floral aromatics, and a syrupy texture with clean, lingering finish. A stunning representation of Ethiopian natural coffees and the craft of Biru Bekele’s processing station.
